Some individuals choose coaching as a space to focus on personal growth, goal-setting, accountability, relationship exploration, or building insight outside of a clinical framework. Coaching can be appealing for those who are not seeking mental health treatment, but instead want support with forward-focused change, self-development, or navigating life transitions.
For example, clients may seek coaching to explore their sexual identity or desires, navigate non-monogamy or polyamory, build confidence in dating, improve communication with partners, process feelings around intimacy, or work through questions about kink, boundaries, or self-expression. Others may want support in unlearning shame, deepening pleasure, or aligning their relationships with their values without necessarily needing mental health treatment. Coaching can offer a forward-focused, affirming space to explore these areas with curiosity and intention.

Although I hold advanced training and credentials in the field of Couple and Family Therapy, including a Master’s degree (as of May 2026), these qualifications are separate from and do not apply to my coaching services. Participation in coaching does not establish a therapist-client relationship, and coaching sessions should not be considered a substitute for therapy or other licensed mental health care.
Coaching is an unregulated and unsupervised service. As such, it does not fall under the same legal, ethical, or professional standards as licensed therapy. If you are seeking support for mental health concerns, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, or crisis situations, I encourage you to seek my therapy-specific services instead of coaching.
By engaging in coaching services, you acknowledge and agree to these distinctions.
